Pupil Attainment & Progress

We want all the pupils, in the Academy and Children’s Centre to make progress and have high standards of achievement. That’s why we regularly analyse and review attainment data to see how the children are progressing and achieving against targets and expectations.  That helps us to make sure that they have the experiences and teaching that will support their learning.

We look at the figures for different groups:

  • Year groups
  • Boys and Girls
  • Pupils with special needs
  • Pupils who have premium funding

Achievement at the end of Key Stage 1 (Year 2) and Key Stage 2 (Year 6) is also analysed, nationally and locally, by the local authority, Ofsted and government agencies.  This enables us to compare how we perform with other schools in the country and the city, especially with those who are most similar to us.
